Genetic epidemic? That theory has flaws

Genetics cause some to be more vulnerable than others
But it's something outside us that captures and smothers

Greed keeps us in the dark, keeping things the same
While our children are suffering
And we parents get the blame

Lord we pray for answers to guide us in our fight
